Is this the coupon? I found it recently at a Thrifty Foods store in the Vancouver area. It was in the bread aisle, obviously appealing to people making lunches for themselves or their kids.

    Yup, mcminsen, that's the coupon.
Also found a great one this morning that may be stackable with the 50 cent coupon.

Buy 1 18-count Frito-Lay Multipack (504g) Get 1 Free box of Quaker bars or snacks
    (120g - 200gg, all flavours/varieties) Sept. 30/12

    Some for trade.

Did it look like this one? I've been picking it up from end of aisle displays at Safeway stores around Vancouver. This one (pictured below) is not stackable because Safeway does not allow stacking. It was the first thing I thought of though when I saw the other .50 off multipack coupon.

    mcminsen,
Mine is similar, and in fact, it has the same UPC #, however, it doesn't limit provinces.
It's valid in Canada. Also, it's not store-specific, like yours.

Maybe it's this one (first one below)?

I've just noticed how there are others that have the same code between the peelie version and the tear pad version. And look at the tear pad with the blue bar on the bottom (#23313079), it has two different expiries. Sept.30 '12 on the front, and Oct.31 '12 on the back.
