Thank goodness for being a student (I can't believe I just said that!)

So it was orientation day at college today. I'm a second year student but I'm starting a new program so I got almost the exact same thing last year. It was a student pack, with all kinds of goodies:

One 19 mL bottle of Franks Red hot sauce
Two Nescafe 3-in-1 coffee packs (coffee+cream+sugar) with $1 off coupon
John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls shampoo, conditioner and serum samples
1 pack of 5 React gum
1 bag of Skittles
1 bowl of KD (microwavable)
1 bottle of Mi0 liquid water enhancer Peach Tea flavoured (Fruit punch kind is yucky so I hope this is better!)
Listerine Breath Strips
1 sample size Axe Body Wash
1 sample size Dial Nutri Skin hand/body lotion
1 sample size Simple face wash
1 sample size got2b Spiking Hair Gel
A pack of 2 Blistex lip chaps
1 small bag of Dutch Crunch Sour Cream and Dill chips
1 Awake chocolate bar (supposed to have as much caffeine as a cup of coffee in one chocolate bar!)
1 Durex "Savvy Lover" pack with one condom and one sample of cherry lubricant (they call it the "Pleasure Pack" LOL)
2 samples of Purex Coldwater



And these next two things weren't in the orientation pack but I grabbed a few of each:
Schick Hydro Silk Razor (I grabbed three of them because I love them, I had one last year!)
Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm (never heard of it but I thought...why not give it a try!)

There was also a piece of paper which entitles you to a three hours of pool at Dooly's for free but I decided not to grab one because I don't like pool....and I don't like Dooly's!

I'm not sure if university/college students get this stuff ALL across the country or just in the Atlantic Provinces, but it makes me proud to be a student for some reason I love freebies! Especially free cookies and juice! and free pens (I always need extras!)

And one more thing: I stopped by GT to grab my Milk Chocolate Covered Almonds because they're delish! My birthday was two days ago and stores were closed yesterday so I had to make a bus trip over today and grab them

Nice haul! I'm in BC and those are completely foreign to me. I've been to one university and one college, and we never had anything like that!

Though at the latter, they had so many fairs where they gave away random stuff...nothing practical like that, mostly just companies trying to get their name out...I got so many free pens .

You are lucky ..I will love to have that too lol!!!In the Adult School I go the first day( as I remember) we had free coffee,juice and donuts(tim hortons)...and somethime promotionnal stuff as pen for school professionnal...This is a great start to a year.Congrats on all the freebieBeing students have positive facts too lol

Which reminds me...there were way more condoms than there were free pens. I'd rather have the junk food and toiletries, we never got that .

When I was university, they gave those boxes away at the bookstore during the first week back... they used to have 3-pack boxes of condoms in them!

Carmex lip balm is one of the best lip balms you can get... has a strong smell to it, but your lips will not be chapped when you use it. It's very thick and stays on well.
