wow reading the "other site" most of those people seem to lack a bit of morals, basically get as many as you can, do as many redemptions as you can, stock as many points as possible, and to hell with everyone else.
They are also stating that some stores in the gta are starting to limit to 8 bars.

My fellow SCers, I want to thank you so much!

After reading these posts around 4pm, I got dressed and ran out to the Shoppers behind my building (I hadn't planned on going out until tomorrow and was in my pjs, but the store closes at 6!). I redeemed 25,000 points for 24 chocolate bars (like Panthea said, great for Christmas and I didn't do any shelf clearing) and a bottle of Quo nail polish for $2.99.

Because of you guys, I earned 48,100 points in one transaction, spending only $7.62 oop.

Here is what I'm really grateful for. I have never done a redemption before. It has taken me a little over 5 years to earn just 30,944 points. After redeeming 25,000 points I actually now have a total balance of 54,044 points. That's all thanks to this forum.

Do the Cadbury Dark also count for the 8000 bonus points? I think I see that on the receipt that someone posted here, but they are not "Cadbury Dairy Milk" just Cadbury Dark.

Went back to SDM this pm and did 2 redemptions....one for 220$ and the other for 110$. Had 107 000 pts to start off with but with bonus points for chocolate, gum, ritz, and cookies, i still have over 76 000 pts left and my total OOP was only 36$. I stocked up on many food items like cheese, high liner, bacon and friskies cans (0,43$ each) for my kitties. I am more than excited my hubby was pretty darn proud too...kids couldn't wait to get home though LOL.

I purchased 4 and one of them was a Cadbury Dark. SDM gave me the 8000 points!

The bad thing is - now you'll be hooked

Now to redeem your points for $110 of free stuff tomorrow (or more free chocolate/points/etc) !

This makes sense in your case but I somehow doubt the people on the other site are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. Q: does chocolate get all smooshy in donations?

I was going to! Until I took a look at my bank account. Even though I could probably manage with just around $10 oop (since I bought another $10 SDM gc while I was out) it's still cutting it close. I'll have to save my pts for mega redemption and hope they have some good BP promotions out then!

Thanks so much for sharing this great deal I did two $50 redemptions today and got 24 bars the first time and 20 the second. Also got some paper towels and other snacks

I only had just under 23000 points before I started but my mom lent me some points so I could do the $50

I spent 50000 points but earned 88000, so overall I gained 38000 points. I spent $6.49 OOP the first time (darn tax) and $10.69 the second (grabbed an impulse buy at the register, subtotal was $53.71 ). I might do the $110 redemption tomorrow but I'm not sure yet, but I will do another $50 for sure!

Every niece and nephew is getting a chocolate bar (or 5, lol!) in their stockings this year! So many great flavours

Size: 290.5 KB Well I tried it and it works. It is a totally legit hack and now I have lots of chocolates to put in my gift baskets for shelters or other people in need.
    Buy 112 Chocolate Bars
    Redeem 95,000 Points
    Out of pocket......... about $30

    EARN 224,000 Points
worth $440.00 on mega redemption days or tomorrow!

Most stores I went to were completely sold out. I went to a little one in a strip plaza and asked if it was ok to buy 112.
The cashier said they still make money so it's fine. They were on sale recently for $1.00 each. There were LOADS left when I was done.

I hate to say it, but I have been thinking the same thing since yesterday....SDM "sometimes" does not think things through and then does silly things (i.e. clawbacks) after the fact to try to put a stop to it.
