    Went to my local SDM nice and early today to redeem some points, and hopefully find a few good clearance deals.
    I did pretty well I think! I only had enough for one $50 redemption so I had to buy 4 Dairy milks to have enough points for the second redemption! lol

    Clearance items:
    Neilson Cottage Cheese $0.50 each x 8 (dated tomorrow so most will go in freezer)
    Juicy Jumbos for $1.99 x1
    Mozzarella Cheese for $2.99 x2

    I did some research.. it seems that full fat or some fat cottage cheese freezes better...
    its not suggested to eat it plain .. its better if u cook with it.. and 4-5 months is good in the freezer....

    I've frozen ricotta then popped it in the blender before using it in lasagna. I would imagine cottage cheese would work very well that way, too.

    nice shop! .... gotta love that cottage cheese ... homemade lasagne beats all lasagne! Didn't think about freezing it though - good idea!
