So glad yesterday wasn't as hot as predicted, it was just somewhat... And we just missed a big storm overnight - went south of us. Might get something today, but it won't be hot. Yay.
Milan came over after work to pick up a phone case I ordered for him from Amazon. He got a new phone two weeks ago and after the first week, he dropped it and cracked the screen - he was so POed.
Anyway we had a nice supper and visit together.
Nothing planned for today that is fun - just catching up on some housework, gah!

Gee, just did a form and realized the date - my Dad's birthday. He was born in 1920.
Gosh, he would have been 94 had he lived - kind of hard for me to imagine since he died when he was only 66.

It looks like a beautiful day out there, so I may try to get outside in the afternoon....ahhhh, life in the fast lane!

Hope everone is doing ok. Been weird lol here lol. Had an interview at another hotel. Job is full time to set up and re-stock meeting rooms, clean common areas and clean the pool area. Best part for me the hotel is only 4 blocks from me. ;)
Really didn't mean to put LOL that many times but stupid keyboard doesn't let me go back to fix.

So I'm watching "Christmas in July" on the shopping channel, hubby finally joined his group for 9 holes of golf, and I can't get to my wallet!!! It's downstairs (4 stairs) and I'm not. Gr.
Cab, good luck with snagging that position at that hotel. Is it a large one? I I loved the movie, "Hotel" , as well as a series (the name escapes me) set in a very posh hotel and it all seemed so exciting, so romantic....I'd have loved to have been an event coordinator in a major hotel chain!
Nothing new here, I'm trying to remember to put my foot on the floor when I walk even though I only put a feather's weight on it, as I say to myself, " heel, ball of foot, bend at the toes"! It just doesn't do it by memory! My Sketcher Mary-janes help diffuse that 'walking on marbles' feeling in my numb foot.
Gorgeous day here, so happy hubby finally allowed himself to leave me for a half round of golf....

Odd start to my day at midnight today, then I went back to sleep from 6 to 7. It's going to be a very odd day....
Had a wicked storm here around supper last night, and again in the evening - tons of rain.

It's a Holiday Inn express but also have an interview now sunday at Tim Hortons. I would prefer the hotel but they're both full time so if I get either would be ok. :)

Morning! We just woke up, and since my hubby is making coffee, I'll have no idea what it's like outside until he brings me my coffee and opens my window....lol...but I don't see sumshine peeking through the shade slats.....the kids will be driving back from Barrie after visiting friends who also have a little guy just one week older than our grandson. Amof, he was born on our DD's delivery date!
