Every weekend I say I am going to sleep in but, here I am, up at the same time. One of these days it'll happen, lol. :)
Sleep in?? That never happens to me either....just habit always rising early, but I do so LOVE the quiet at that hour. I've been puttering in the kitchen and basement since around 6:00 as well. Have a great long weekend everyone.Quote:

Well, up WAY too early this morning - I sure 'thought' the clock in the bedroom said after 4, but once I got up and about, realized it was just 2 - gah!

Good morning...whew! Having our grandson over the weekend and for the next week sure changes things around here!! :)
Our DD and her DH are in Mexico for a well-deserved week of R&R, in San Miguel de Allende with another couple; she's been there before, stayed in the same home they've rented and has looked forward to being their tour-guide in that lovely city, esp through the art museum.
As for us...appt with my surgeon this morning to determine whether or not and/or when the top two screws can come out which seem to be bothering me and curtailing my walking, then physio after lunch to report on her decision.
Busy day!

It's "warmish" but threatening rain here today. We're supposed to get the tail-end of all those storms heading through the mid-west US later today and overnight.
Hello everyone....back after a 3 1/3hr wait to see my surgeon (apparently she's also on call, so it took a week bit longer, thank goodness I took my knitting with me....:-~)
So....within a month, apparently, I'll be going under the knife again to have my top two screws removed, since they're interfering with my progress; I could be walking by Christmas now! Not looking forward to the procedure, but at least there's better light at the end of that tunnel. Avon, so true, Sweetheart...been along time coming!!
