Nothing on my agenda, perhaps I'll work on my painting, but it's a little scary without my teacher near-by. I'm changing the clasp on my friend's chakra bracelet I made for her to a magnetic one; since her hubby's working out of town she has no one to clasp it for her now.

good morning again ladies!! A tiny bit better for our walk this morning. Managed to wake up 2 different sides of my street because my barker Mad Dog Murphy met up with his arch nemesis ( a pudgy pug who I LOVE!! ) and Rufus loves him too so it ticks Murphy off that they sniff and dance and wag their tails while I must restrain him on a short leash and then on the return trip from a distance he spied his doppelganger ( a mutt that looks suspiciously like him! ) so the barking resumed!

Showed up to work extremely early this morning, to run some errands without bumping into my nemeses. My adviser has told me I don't have to fear them, I should carry out business as usual. I'm adjusting, I will beat this.

So how strange is this?!!
Hubby walks out of the front door just now, and near the door are a pair of my stud earrings, gold with a cultured pearl in each, no backs on them, one missing its post, the other one bent!!! What?!!
So I tossed them out. He suggested I get a new post put on, but phhht! I'm in no mood today to consider doing anything but tossing them. But how in the world could that have happened?!
On the slightly up-side, I spoke with Air Canada, and they'll have a wheelchair waiting for me at Pearson and Ronald Regan airports next week, so that'll be a great relief instead of walking the length of Pearson to catch a cab to Sherway Gardens for our several hour lay-over..it's a complete travel day...sigh...but it's free, so no complaints here! :)
that is good news about the wheelchair Lynn, a lifesaver considering all the walking involved. I wonder if the earrings were placed in a pocket of a coat at some point and if you pulled something else out of the pocket at a later date as you came in the front door? Not saying that you FORGOT about placing them in a pocket or anything because that only happens to elderly people.

Lynn, when are you going for vacation? How many days? When will you be back? Are you going to be able to use SC during your vacation? I am worried that i wont have a lot of posts to read (especially between you and walkonby...lol).

And you know i am feeling a bit embarrassed and worried about something. A few days ago i shared a deal on SC about Lise Watier make up, and some members ordered the stuff....they got their products but they are not very impressed. I am feeling embarrassed now. I shouldn't have told anything about it, perhaps. Makes me sad. :(
I hope i am not as disappointed with my products as they are, i spent A LOT! :eek: :(
