This week has been officially launched. Mondays have a way of doing that to us.

Boy, turned out to be a really busy day. We went to a friend's, swam in her pool, polished off a couple bottles of wine, had a nice dinner, and finally home.
Like I said I won't post my challenge videos here. However sat afternoon I will post my lays Canada do us a flavour 2015 review. ;)

it's going to be another hot day here with rain coming this afternoon.
cabbie, I love the PEI scalloped potatoes chips. Liked the flavour of the Montreal smoked meat, but they are too spicy for me. Won't try the other two; they don't appeal to me.

Our son came over for supper and a visit last night, so it was really nice! :)

It looks like rain this morning, but of course, since it never rains on a golf course, Hubby's off playing, and I'm on my second cup of coffee. We had an absolutely great time this weekend with all the activities that went on, and next year they're planning a pig roast and luau...I can just imagine some of the costumes!!
Hicks...sounds like you had a super time with your friend..those days sure are special, aren't they?
Nat...nice that your son drops in for dinners..it's one way we keep them close to us, isn't it? LOL!!!! Gotta use what we have! Of course, we're fortunate that our kids actually WANT to be with us!

The sky around here was very eerie this morning. It was very muggy and cloud formations like I'd never seen. I thought we were in for something serious but it all faded away with a bit of rain. Wish I had had my camera.
About 50 Canada Geese decided to "glean" the left-over wheat in the field next to us this morning. They are all gathering and getting ready for their flight soon. I was thinking today that I haven't seen as many robins around and the red-winged blackbirds seem to have flown the coop. I don't know where they migrate to - I'll have to look it up.
All of a sudden in the last few days we've been inundated with tiny toads on my evening walk with the dogs. Mostly the dogs ignore them, but you should see them (the dogs) jump when the toads jump and surprise them! (David and Goliath)
I have to get my mind around our up-coming trip to Denver next Tuesday. We've extended our trip for a few days so we'll be gone almost 2 weeks. We'll be back Labour Day Weekend.
Last time we were in Denver, a tornado touched down at the airport while we were there. We were hustled down to the bowels of the Denver International Airport! Don't wish to relive that! The weather there can be so unpredictable - there could be heat or there could be snow! We'll be spending most of our time snuggling - changing diapers- driving kids around - cooking - (dh's daughter is gluten free so I'm going to get some hints on cooking) Have to go to older kids' athletic endeavours as well. I'm looking forward to going! (or did you catch that?)
