Hi folks!
Hope everyone has a great Monday!
WOW! I just received my call for my knee-replacement assessment...on Wednesday!!
I'm a little scared, but if they can rip everything out of there and start over with a new knee, it's going to be worth it...at the very least it should come down to the same size as my other one eventually. :)
Now, I don't know, of course, when the actual surgery might be booked, but you know how these things happen, it'll be on a date that we have another event, such as our niece's wedding or some such....I'm caught between excited and terrified of recovery from my 4th surgery on that knee!!
But I'll be fine...what I went thru was much, much worse than this, so I'll be great!!
I hope you all have wonderful surprises today, too!!!

Lynn, that's good that you got an appointment - hopefully the surgery date won't be too far away. Make sure you are on their cancellation list.

Milan just left - he's got homework and laundry to do. It was nice having him over two nights in a row!
He's done with school the end of the week - and though he's found it okay, he's just really itching to get back to work. Mind you, I think he's been at work in the evenings and on weekends, anyway - working on his cars, or helping others with theirs.
And finally his EI came though the end of last week, and hopefully it will catch up this week and the next - geez, what if he had no one watching his back financially, he would have been in deep doo-doo.
Anyway, sent him home with a few bags of food - some leftovers, some veggies, and fruit. I felt badly that I had no baking for him this time - my knee is still not great. It's decent for the day, but somehow after supper it's like it really took the brunt of the day and is yucky - even though I'm rather careful with it during the day.

Took a sick day yesterday and stayed in bed until the afternoon.
Decided I should at least check my work emails before I went to bed for the night...bad idea.
Lots to do and catch up on today.

@Natalka - your ds is lucky to have a mom like you; sure hope your knee feels better soon
@danger_dan - I hope you're feeling better today; sometimes it feels like it wasn't worth taking a sick day when you look at how hard you have to work to catch up
@Lynn49 - that's great news; I bet you are nervous, but hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the surgery, either right away, or not until after the wedding.

@22hicks...I really am nervous: another surgery, but hopefully the last! How are you faring lately?
@danger_dan...I hear this so often from our DD...after their week-long trip last week she barely had time to call from work and say, "hi"...I hope work's not too rough on you today.:hug:
Heading out for lunch with a Friend, then that appt tomorrow, THEN...THEN!!!!...the NFL DRAFT on Thursday night!! I can't WAIT for Goodell's words: "The FIRST pick of the 2016 NFL draft, the LA Rams, pick..."...and it's probably going to be Jared Goff....Wine...one of the best nights of the year...Kleenex tissues at the ready!!:cheer2::blob5:

Wow...you folks down south got innundated with rain! I saw videos of thunderstorms, too...
Thankfully we didn't get the snow we were supposed to get, not rain...just sunshine!
It's +8, hot and sunny on the patio and no...this time I'm NOT complaining!!:cheesygrin:
I hope no one got basement flooding....
