Hi all. Popping in to say hi. Hope you all survived/are surviving the snow. I tell you, it's days like today I appreciate living in a basement apartment that has snow removal included.
Doing alright in my recovery. Been able to have some soft cheese fingers, in small bites. Calories sure do taste good.

whew what a day! had to take the 2 angels grocery shopping this morning *GAH!*. my #1 complaint about no frills is that there isnt anyone to bag your groceries anymore. there were only 2 cashiers open (it was 9am) but lots of people doing their big shop for the week. so of course, they cram your stuff down the belt as quick as they can and start pushing the next person in line through. but you never (at least i never do) get time to bag your stuff, especially with 2 kids trying to "help".
cleaned the entire house, put a turkey in the oven, now the kids are watching Peter Pan. i'm surprised they're this into it (they watched it last night too) since its not their typical princess-singing movie.
we built a pretty cool fort yesterday afternoon outside. this morning it was pretty cold so it should have firmed it up a bit. i bought some spray bottles at the dollar store this morning so they could put a couple food coloring drops and some water in them to 'paint' them this afternoon. hopefully they keep the water on the fort and dont decided to spray each other.
