Chat-A-Thon Thread

Giant headache for me this morning - third day in a row, it goes away a bit as the day goes on. However, it's been different each day. It's very unusual for me to get them, so I'm not impressed with having them at all...

Last night, my son found he had a piece of tooth missing, of a wisdom tooth. Didn't crunch down on anything, just found a piece, and then the jagged part left is bugging him against his cheek. So I feel badly for him - here he is 21 - NEVER had a cavity, or anything wrong with his teeth, which is such a blessing! What's too bad is that now, he's not on our insurance any longer, and since he's working temporarily, his work didn't put him on insurance...
He was going to call this morning to see how quickly he could get in to our dentist to take a peek and see what's up.
You know, 21, and I still want to baby him..... aw....

Aw, poor guy :( Hope he can get it taken care of quickly... and cheaply!!!

I have a feeling I will always baby my boys... I really don't want to be THAT mother, but... they're MY babies, and they were mine first!!! LOL

sheets, I see how my two older sisters did with theirs - one had three boys, the other two, now in their 30s - you still stay close to them, but not clingy - so that's the model I'm adopting!

As much as I want to baby them all the time... I try REALLY hard not to!

Quiet day here, feeling kind of down in the dumps... must be the winter blues kicking in, it always hits me around this time of the year :(

im tired.. just finished putting away 2 containers of homemade turkey soup, a batch of broth for gravy and leftover gravy bits to make gravy sandwiches, then im browning beef to make spaghetti later this week and chili. and cleaned the kitchen.. ima sweating.. as well as doing laundry. what a busy day.

Wishing everyone Sweet dreams and a wonderful tomorrow. Hubby got paid today. Yay!

Thank you :sweet: On a side note, DS had a fortune from a cookie the other day and it said "you are surrounded by angels"... I don't know how much stock you can put into a fortune cookie but I thought that one was really nice!

Yay for finally getting paid!!

I'm feeling a little better tonight... I just hate when the winter blues hit :(

Nat, the need to keep them little forever never leaves us, we will baby them till we die. My dd's always say " Mom, I'm 32 " or whatever age, depending on dd. As for those headaches, I'm concerned Nat, if your not prone to headaches and the are changing each day, perhaps it might be an idea to get them checked out. I'm hoping today you are headache free.

sheets, I'm so glad your starting to feel better, and Mrs Sunshine...wow...you can come over here and help me out, I could use some great homemade broth (I'm just about out) :)
