Cupcakes, wine, AND a good ol' fashioned shag? I am totally in! Hahahaha
Vee, it's funny how just making something pretty cheered me up!
Well, plus having one.... it was yummy! :)
Go with the vodka Nat.

Okay. UGH!!!! Our grandson's teacher is driving us bonkers!!
So, yesterday when our DD dropped him off at JK, she casually asked his teacher
how he's doing, and she said, he's improved...working more in the "learning" centre (no thanks to her, but to his tutor),
but.....(and this was bothering her!!)...."Yesterday we went to the gym and I pulled out all of the wheelie-things, and within seconds all the kids were sitting on them wheeling around, except him. He took his, and sat on the bench, turned it over to figure out how it works." THIS is a problem!!?
Our DD just said, "You're lucky he didn't have a screwdriver. He'd have taken it apart." LOL!!! She has no patience with her anymore.
Then teacher said, "He plays more with his friends, now, but he still likes to be alone."
"So do I!!", replied our DD.
SHEESH!!! It seems she can handle problem kids, but evidently doesn't know what to do with a kid who wants to figure things out for himself!!
I hope he doesn't have her again next year.
Anyway.....my rant is over.
Thank you.
We can always call Loocie to help stomp grapes. We all know how much she enjoys that.

I go to walmart and you guys yack away, go figure lol. Saw my ex GF at walmart but she didn't see me before I turned around and put my hood up from my hoodie lol. I didn't feel like talking to her or having some kind of awkward silence.
Oh, my heart goes out to the poor little guy :( My little man probably would have done the same thing with those wheelie things. I don't blame your daughter for being frustrated... Hayden's teacher is always calling me with a new "problem" she thinks he's having or a new "quirk" that she thinks is odd. She hasn't been teaching kindergarten for very long (she taught grade 3 and 4 before) and I really think she just doesn't GET little kids! He's 5 for heaven's sake!
oh my word Lynn.. my son would have done the exact same thing.. and I would have said the same thing your DD did.
