omg, my house is like a zoo with the older one at home. Even though its only been 2 weeks since school started, I really like the peace and quiet & the idea of looking after 1child until 3:30, lol.
I would give anything for it to be 3pm and I can go home and start my weekend! lol

Good morning, peeps! I've been on for a while, but cruisin' the whole site, entering some contests, etc.
Son is off work today, but he won't raise his head off the pillow til noon probably - it's nice having him around for part of the day, anyway.

I'm googling recipes for yellow squash - the only squash I've ever cooked is spaghetti squash, which we love.
We were given one big honkin' squash yesterday, so I need to come up with some ideas.
My husband had gone yesterday after work to do some electrical work for an elderly man from our parish, and my husband came home with a bounty of goodies from this wonderfully generous couple - I couldn't believe it! Along with this big squash were a big bag of tomatoes and one of cucumbers; onion, two jars of dill pickles, a jar of jelly, and a spice cake!
