Vee - that's a very smart idea to have a planner do things for the weeks before the wedding, to pull it all together.
And I was wondering about Serbian food - and sweets! :)

For our wedding, I was living almost five hours away til a month before the wedding (wedding was in our home city) - with careful planning, it somehow it all worked out just fine!
I didn't find planning and organizing stressful at all - I think it depends upon one's attitude, actually. Or maybe we were just lucky because we had no major glitches.

Well, the one thing in planning which did go wrong - we had bilingual invitations, Ukrainian on left side, English on right - and when the invitations we ordered came in, the first letter of each line was missing! However, we had ordered early, so there was plenty of time to reorder, and all was fine.

Hm.... wish I could do it all over! Yes, same groom! :)

the sweet table will have lots of homemade Serbian food!
My mother is making the bridal shower next spring and there is sure to be tons of Serbian food, cevapi, burek roasted pig lol

We just had a simple registry office wedding..my mum and sister, Mr P's parents, a brother, his wife and son, a few friends and a nearly 2 Penguinette 1..

We booked lunch at a local pub which had a play area for the kids.And I left my ring in the bathroom..a woman who had followed me in found it and rushed it back to me. I was so unused to wearing one I hadn't noticed I'd not put it back on..

To the guys and gals who are there right now, have been or will be...

To those of you who aren't afraid to parent the way that works for you...

Thanks...parenting isn't always sweetness and light..kids can and are horrible at times.

we need to acknowledge that parents are people too.. sometimes we fail at simple things in caring for our kids.

And still over 99% of them grow up to be useful to society..

Morning all! I have to catch up on what I missed but I caught some of the wedding stuff... I missed out on having a big wedding because the ex wanted to elope to Vegas LOL. It was a cool experience though and I would definitely go back to see all the sights!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!:):rapture: Hope you will have all a great tuesday!!!:) Today is rainy, humidand we will have storm,the window are still open better air circulation than the AC today.I am glad I have fixed mine ( I purchased a thing for 1,50$) round of metal we put beside the dryer to evacuate the hot air,,,It work so much better than trying to fix it with tape again and again,the tape dont last heat unstick it...why I did not think of that last year....:embarassed1: Well,cleaning day but cannot put clothes on drying line because the rain....so I guess...dusting and still paperwork to do

I'm Baaaack :whoo: Good morning to you all. Strength is starting to build, finally. I got out of the hospital again, yesterday, but this time, as each day passes I feel a bit stronger and have felt that for the past 4 days. Me thinks everything is on the correct track now and all holes have been plugged :) I've missed so much, I have so much reading of posts to do, but I'll leave that for another time. I'm going to make a few short posts, then get ready as I have lots of family coming over today to visit. We are going to have a wonderful dinner together! So, I truly hope that everyone has an amazing day!
