Thanks everyone, yeah I was shocked about the number of kids. I remember at the beginning of the year saying to Ashley that maybe she should see about having Ryder moved to one of the other 3 grade 1 classes, but when she told me the number of children in those classes, it didn't really seem to matter. I guess in Ryders class, there is only the 2 teachers, there are no aids or anything, all the children in this split class work pretty independently so it worked out really well in the end (AND, he learned a few things in the grade 2 curriculum that will give him a slight advantage next year.
