Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a fabulous Canada Day. Ours was filled with lots of activities down at the Lake here. My campground lovely and it is really nice to be with my dd! Yesterday, we all dressed in red and white, we put tattoos on all of us, red and white flowers in our hair, ate taco's in a bag (well, I had one bite and discreetly dropped mine in the garbage :wink: ) we watched dragon boat races, heard amazing singers, watch professional acrobats, Ryder played in a blow up rock climbing house and a bouncy house. We went back to Nikki's house and had a BBQ, then back to watch the spectacular fireworks at 11 pm
I'm still in bed this morning :ranger: Today it's going to be 38 and H O T ....I'm lovin it :) Off to the grocery store to get some groceries today, then just going to relax. Tomorrow, Ryder has plans for us to go to the water park and he said he'd love to take a picnic with us??? We were only going for a few hours, LOL but, I'll pack him a few treats and lots of water....after all he's a growing boy, LOL.

G'day, all...("roomies"...too cute, Viking!)....busy week ahead, 2 planning meetings with couples, a bingo to work at for the therapy dog group, then 3 weddings on the weekend!!
Just dropping by to give thanks that we all made it safely through the weekend...not in our town, however...a stupid, senseless boating accident!!2 young men died, one girl in critical condition in the hospital, and one other young man wondering why he survived and whether or not he caused the fire that incinerated his two friends!!
WHEN will kids realize that decisions made after consuming alcohol are just NOT good ideas!
Our SIL went to school and knew the 2 young men who died......sorry...I just can't get it out of my mind..thank goodness you are all safe......:embarassed:

'Morning everyone......up way too early for an old retired gal this morning, but hubby got up to go golfing so I joined him for a morning coffee. We were up at 7:30....wee Jenny is still tucked in under the blankets in our bed hiding from the world...sigh...can any pup be more of a princess?!!
Busy week with 3 planning meetings and 3 weddings..July is much busier than June was and it's hard to get time off for camping. But! Next year will be my last, since I'll be turning 65 next fall, and I can retire from this biz and sit on my butt collecting CPP! Hah!
SIL's b'day is on Saturday, so another party, another reason to break my diet, although it'll be easier to stick to it this time since I'll be doing 2 weddings, so will miss dinner. NOT, however, the cake and wine..:) We bought him some lovely gifts, including a Puma golf shirt and coordinating belt (orange, lol), but he has to be in the latest fashions, doncha know, so he'll look very swish on the golf course. I'm also completing the balaclava I'm knitting for him...he asked for 'something' to keep warmer while snow-blowing, for last Christmas, but of course I was too busy...so I'm giving it to him on Saturday, wrapped in Christmas paper, as a late/early Christmas gift! :tongue: Then I'll knit one for our grandson, then my hubby....Then they leave for Vegas for 5 days...should be lots of fun for them!

early start here too, dh reputtied the kitchen, i have to finish scrubbing the walls, tape the cupboards off, finish making two birthday cards for my kids, make some icing for saturday, dye coconut green, water flowers. geez anything else..
its going to be ..or already is going to be warmer today..supposed to storm this afternoon.. will see.
