Whew! Chicken soup boiling away - house smells heavenly!
Soon to be competing for aromas will be the two loaves of banana bread baking.
Gah, my arms/hands are tired from chopping and mixing! (I like baking when husband is home because it's no biggie for him to mix stuff!)
Also got veggies prepped for chicken stew.
All this because my baby boy is coming for supper tonight - so I'm doubling up the meals and amounts so he has lots to take home for the week - plus a banana bread.
good afternoon everyone. well I'm happy to report my gallbladder surgery went well (bit of a rough recovery) but I'm feeling pretty good. a bit tender but not too bad.
I'm glad, gracesmommy - still, take it easy! :)

Well, it's going to be a 'careful' day for me today - yesterday, my back 'went out' - yes, from nothing more than a simple movement which triggered it; it's just so very odd how this happens several times a year.
So I'm pussyfooting around, having to think before each time I move... because those bolts of lightning pain are something I don't want to have to experience often. I know I did too much yesterday, but really thought I had paced things out - duh, obviously not.
So I'm vegging today.... which isn't a bad thing, overall, seeing as the windchill is -39, argh!

I also read lots of books and played games with my littles…thank goodness for something to break up the monotony of reports and snow!

Temp is going the wrong way! When I came on here, the windchill was -39, now it's -42!!!!
