You are entitled to the first item free per unique UPC, so if each item has a different UPC each item is free. You are entitled to one item free per unique UPC code. "

SCOP means scanning code of practice, a voluntary code (except in QC where it's law) that most stores follow in order to maintain proper upkeep of prices.
I just read somewhere about a girl getting a TON of those sally hansen nailpolishes free because they were all different colors!

so what is the scanning code of practice?? I am still a little confused I think.
