I revised my post. It's been proven that some Shoppers employees follow this site's forums and others. Starting today, some people's points are being taken away if they did the whole chocolate bar deal. Quote from another site:

I just came back from SDM, one of my transaction 12 bars of chocolate (3x 8000 points) They had removed 16000 points (one bonus points per transaction).
Gonna cut up the card now as I already spent them (now in minus). Going to check if my other card (42000 yesterday) is in minus too, now I regret not clear all the points last night."

And another...."I only use this particular card buying 12 bars (3x 8000 points) on Saturday then transferred all the points to my other card for redemption. I just use it to buy toothpaste & 4x cookies. Shown exact 16000 points (2x 8000) are gone & my account is in minus."

"Anyone who redeemed points to make purchases and made a load of points in doing so... will be affected with "adjustments"

So to play it safe, I'll be conservative and stay under the radar. Right now, I can't even check my points balance because the SDM site is overwhelmed. I don't think SDM has yet to realize the blunder that happened this weekend.

Once I'm assured that my points are safe and no "point adjustments" will happen, I'd be more than happy to resume by brag and post awesome stockpile pics.

Yes, yesterday i was quite proud of my haul, today I've heard that SDM is taking away the bonus points on Optimum accounts that were earned from the chocolate bars. Playing it conservative until I hear otherwise.
