I live in Richmond, BC and I need a statutory declaration for my name. I looking for a solicitor or notary public who will charge reasonably. Anyone knows of any? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Check where you renew your vehicle plates. I live in a small town and our guy does it for free. Also your bank or credit union may do it for free as they always have someone on staff like that for mortgages, etc.

In Ontario , any library can serve as notary publics and it's free. I did that last month for a legal document that needed a notary. Call your nearest library and see if they offer that and make an appointment (you have to make an appointment)

CHEAP NOTARIZATION AND COMMISSIONING!!!!!!! I HAD TO SHARE! $10 $15
I searched everywhere to find cheap notary and commissioning services. I finally found a lawyer who offers really cheap notarization and commissioning. The first notarization/commission is $15 and additional notarization/commissions during the same visit are $10 each. My friend recommended me to them and I have gone to them several times now. This may be for a limited time, so if you have a document that requires a notarization or commissioning, I suggest you contact to arrange a visit soon.
The contact email is: [email protected]
You basically email them and let them know what documents you have that require notary or commissioning. They responded in less than an hour when I emailed! Once I tell them what I needed done, they respond accordingly and a date and time is arranged. You meet at the public library in Oakville nearby Third Line and Upper Middle Rd. I loved this because it was so close to me and I had a computer and photocopier at hand if I needed it. You have to bring valid photo ID and make sure you don’t sign before the visit! When you email, mention the discount code: notary15.
It’s refreshing to know there are still great lawyers out there that offer such affordable services like this! . I am so thankful to my friend for telling me about them, and I thought I would do the same and share.
