So my boys (16 & 17) went trough all their DVD's last night and we took them this morning to BB. They bought 94 out of 114 DVD's from us. It gave me an instore credit of $379. After work I took the boys to BB and we came home with a PS3 bundle and a second controller the cost came to 377.41 so I still have +1.59
I am now officially thier favorite!!! ( at least for tonight anyway.)

It is like Christmas all over again

It was the easiest money I have ever made. We had two big boxes od dvd's stored in the basement. I think they have been there since we moved here over 4 years ago. My boys have been wanting a ps3 for awhile now but I have a hard time justifying spending that kind of money when they just got their wii 3 years ago. I hate how the companies bring out something bigger and better every yearend the prices just keep getting higher and higher. Over the Yearswhen we have gotten them a new game system we always pass Lon the old one to my sisters kids. My sister and her husband have struggled financially for years and probably will for the rest of their lives. Her husband was born with major heart problems and has had numerous surgeries. Most of their income ( both working full time) goes to paying off hospital and doctor bills. So their kids have never had the newest of anything. I think they are more excited about getting a used wii than my boys are about their new ps3. I love that I can get something for free that will I turn put smiles on many faces

That's is such a great brag. Plus you set a good example for your sons. I luv how some stores will buy or trade in games. Plus nice of you to pass on the Wii.

We have a rule in our house during the school year the game system is only allowed out on the weekends after all homework is done. But last night I had to bend the rule........They played the PS3 from the time I got home at 5 30 until 10PM. This morning I put it on the shelf and reminded them of the rule and that last night was a one time deal :-( I know what you are thinking.......she is a mean mom.........but right now school is the most important thing in their lives (or should be) so we try to avoid any distractions.
