My daycare kids are outside with my husband hanging Christmas lights in their T-shirts! It's a beautiful day in NS. We have the Monet model fireplace/tv stand from Canadian Tire and LOVE it...I think it's on sale this week too!

I'm way way on the west coast so just rain rain and more rain for me for now. I wish for a few snow days here though. I love the snow days that I can stay all warm and cozy inside. My package is set and packed. Found the perfect sized box finally after three tries to make it all fit. Post office tomorrow!!
So we need...tracking number..anything else?

almost ready to mail on tuesday just have to add a few last minute things
and I was so right when I said 2 boxes lol :)
I went out and bought chocolate for my buddy and here I am eating it. Knew I should have bought 2 packs. Oh well...
Don't feel bad I'm right there with you! I'm also waiting for something to arrive by mail, not sure if I'll get it in time but its small so I can send it separately. Plus I haven't started wrapping yet and may still need to pick up a few things!! It feels like we just got our buddies lists! And Pammie's baby is already a month old. Where has the time gone??
Love everyone's wrapping. I'm an okay wrapper depending on the shape of the object. So buddy you'll probably get some nicely wrapped ones and some that are so so lol.
Oh thanks for reminding me... I'm waiting for something by mail too. It's small so I'll ship it separately if I have to.
I was off work today so I mailed buddy's parcel. Expected delivery is Nov. 16 I hope buddy can wait that long to open first present.
Seems here in edmonton nothing EVER closes!!
juliejolie: awwww i feel for you. my family runs a business, so I wasn't even allowed to take a whole year off to be with my son :( I managed to squeeze 7 months maternity leave and then I had to be back to work. :( It was a big adjustment to go from spending 24/7 with your child to being away for hours at a time. Luckily for us tho, my husband works there too, so I work days mon - thurs, he works nights, and then we get to spend 3 days off together as a family and our son doesn't need to be in daycare. Plus, I had to go back to work so I can make up enough hours again since we want to have kids close together in age.
dlee: it was snowing big fluffy flakes here in Hope this morning. but it didn't last and turned to rain :(
PammieD: 1 month old already! :D the first year flies by SO fast...i still can't believe my son is 9 months old already and almost walking!! I looked back at newborn pics the other day and cried cuz I couldn't believe how much he changed already! LOL
Buddy......your box is all taped up and ready to mail tomorrow! But after I had it all taped up, I realized I wanted put a Christmas card in there and didn't......so maybe I will just mail it to you later!
Speaking of babies, maybe some of you moms can give me advice or just make me feel better about this. lol so he's 9 months old and has no teeth yet. I know that all babies are different and develop differently and some don't even get teeth till they are a year old. I just can't help but feel "bad" or like he's "behind" on his eating skills though. He eats the baby cereals like oatmeal and whatnot. He eats pureed fruits, veggies, and he's on the 8months+ baby dinners which is mashed but has chunks in it instead of just pureed. He does eat those mum mum cookies. I've tried feeding him chunks of banana but he just made faces like it was gross and then threw it all up. I've tried other chunks of fruit but he didn't care to eat them and just spit it out and played with it. Do you think it's okay to just keep feeding him the jarred food? Or should I be really pushing him to try and eat more chunky food? Also, my husband and I don't always eat the healthiest some days, so I feel like at least if he's eating the jarred fruits, vegs, dinners, at least I know he's getting proper nutrition instead of what we eat some days. Your thoughts??
