Awww don't stress. He's only 9 months old. My almost 9 month old just got his first tooth a couple weeks ago and I still feed him purées and mum mums and the basic stuff. We're easing into the more chewable options too but I have no problem breaking out the apple sauce if need be. Everyone is different. As long as he's getting the nutrition he needs, I don't think it's a big deal.
Also I talked to our family dentist a few weeks ago at my 3year olds appointment and was told that late blooming teeth are actually better most of the time as they tend to be healthier so woo hoo for Owen....and my older 5 month tooth sprouter is screwed haha.

there are 3 neighbors so far who have trees up already. i told a neighbor the other day i'd be putting our's up on the 23rd.. she was like oh in a week or so.. NO December 23.. she was like WHAT!?.. yep. after last year.. no way. i went through 5 HUGE rubbermaid boxes of stuff.. and we had 2 TWO! people in our house the whole season. besides us. his mother and a neighbor who was 5 feet in our door. so the 2 footer is IT this year.

Wow, lots of you!! Lucky! The closest one to me is Bear25....she's 30 minutes away. dlee would be almost two hours away from me. chesterjes would be like 2 and half hours away from me. RSAS would be like a two hour drive and then a ferry ride and drive away from me! And unfortunately out of any of those places, I rarely or never go there except for Bear, where I try to go shopping in Chilliwack every two weeks.
Thanks for the advice ladies. I know you shouldn't "compare" babies, but my husband's cousin's baby is a month younger than my son, has teeth, and the mom is the type that makes all her own baby food and he's been eating solids for quite awhile now. Grr. But thanks, I do feel better now after what you two said :D

My personal opinion is...It will all come in due time, don't rush him

Consider the choking risk if he doesn't have the teeth to chew it yet. I know it can be stressful if you feel that they are behind, but it is not very likey that he will be starting school and still only eat pureed foods. Let them be babies as long as you can! In another month or two (which will FLY by!) you will be thinking, Oh my goodness! You are a toddler already; where did my baby go?!
Take it while you can get it! It goes by WAY TOO FAST!RRLF: Cineplex Passes, Optimum Points (and my sanity...I think I lost it a while back

ok that was not fun catching up since Oct
but here goes
What's everyone sending for Dec 25.. the most wanted or.... A random thing
Would you be excited to find a couple unwrapped bags of chocolates as the "bubble wrap"??? Please NO - can't eat chocolates
They had these little star wars candy dispenser things in for Christmas. I want to find the dearth vader one for hubby's stocking. My shoppers was sold out of those ones already. Maybe you could check yours? Are you talking about a M&M fan candy dispensor, well if you are they sell them at Michaels
I'm heading to ikea now - 16 days and counting until IKEA opens!!!!
What did you do when there is more then 1 child? I picked my oldest child - as my little one doesn't even know what Christmas is yet
do you or your child eat pop tarts ? NO
Do you have a passport?? NO
Do you wear earrings?? or do you like accessories etc for hair ? NO
Buddy what is your favourite flavour of old dutch chips? Don't eat chips
Does anyone else have concerns about the cost of shipping? Nope - mine last year to Snuff was $28 and that sucker was heavy!!
ok ppl what color are your eyes ?? Blue but turn to green if I am wearing green
Whats better? Keurig? Tassimo? Something else? We're coffee, hot chocolate, & tea drinkers so the more variety, the better.. I don't own one but ask Coyote what she has
as I only have that fancy coffee there
Ok buddy... I can't find your previous answer to this q so can you pick a GC from this list: any except iTunes
You guys are probably getting the same system we have and let me tell you its not pretty!
and it isn't helping that we have a few Wpg riders wishing for snow
25 inches so far and MORE to come

can you tell I LOVE SNOW!!!!!!!!
P.S. - I haven't started shopping for my little buddy yet
hopefully tomorrow
