I have maybe 5 days done but all smaller items. I know there is still a lot of time left but I still feel behind.

I think I am going to "mix it up" with the gifts but have the "special gift" for Christmas day. I already have my special gift ordered... so I feel a little less stressed

BUDDY- did I tell you how AMAZING your wishlist is?!? So many options! THANK-YOU!

I'm heading to Esapnola for the weekend. I'm keeping my mom company when she takes Tyler(her grandson/my nephew) to his Camp Quality Camp Reunion(summer camp for children who have survived cancer or are going through cancer treatments--my nephew is a survivor )

I have my coupons packed and plan to stuff 3 trains. I planned it that way. I am also going to shop at Giant Tiger.. we don't have one here and they sell the worlds most comfortable underwear. HA! I know how silly it sounds but they are fabulous. $2 a pair.. they don't shrink and most importantly, they don't ride up my bum. We call them "sexy granny panties". BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!

I'm super excited for next weekend too. Hubby and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We are not doing anything to fancy... we are hoping to spend the day together if his work schedule allows it. We are looking forward to our Cuba trip in January that is our Chrismas present to each other AND we will have a romantic dinner(or two) to celebrate our five years.

OH, NickiB... We will be in London ON in February for the Provincial Billiard Championships. We are staying at the "Downtown Hilton". February 12th-17th. Maybe a coffee???

The camp is amazing. Runs all by donations and volunteers. Tyler has to be 18(he is 15) before family members can volunteer to be a companion to another camper. And, it is something we will all do IF Tyler would like us to do that. He plans on going from "camper to companion" when he turns 18 and might want to do this journey on his own. We of course, donate every year what we can.

    - Do you use and/or want a day planner/2013 agenda/calendar? What kind? (ex/ small pocket/purse one? Slightly larger one with more room for writing? daily desk calendar?) I'm a digital kinda girl (always lose the paper ones!)
    - Do you like/use nail polish? What kinds of colours? LOVE - Especially pale pinks or dark reds/purples/the 'hot' dark colours of the winter season!
    - If you have kids, are they into arts and crafts? I doubt my kid's going to be doing crafts for a few years
    - What's your favourite magazine (that you DON'T have a subscription to! Any Cross Stitching magazine...I don't subscribe to any of them and haven't picked any up in a long while

What color is your kitchen? Black and Teal

What color is your bathroom? I don't really have a color scheme in the bathroom. Anything goes

Do you have a theme in these rooms? Nope- not really. Sorry.

Do you like wall decals? If so, what are you looking for? Yes I like them, but not really looking for anything specific. Maybe Princess or Tinkerbell for the girls?

How would you describe the style of you home? We live in a duplex and haven't really decorated it yet. Kinda of country "ish", Rustic, family friendly, lived in...

What type of homemade items do you like? Pretty much anything. There are lots of talented people on this train

Would you accept homemade chocolates or candy? Yes. But could you mark it as such so I don't put it under the tree? I am puppy sitting for a week in December and would hate for pup to get into any goodies

Some more things to add to my list if my buddy needs more ideas:

    - Scarf that is connected (round) so you just need to fit it over your head and it kinda hangs... cowl scarf? Saw them at Aldo Accessories today.. A dark purple, grey, or cream one would be nice!
    - Black large roomy tote/shoulder bag for work, anything stylish
    - Jewelry box to hold my beaded, layered long necklaces (larger compartments)

We have solar panels on the roof powering fans for the pop can heater to keep warm air moving into the room and cooler air moving into the heater. The idea is we can hang laundry to dry year round -regardless of weather. Sounds a little nuts....but works well. We're in the process of going off grid.

I'll take a picture of the inside once DH finishes working in there.....we've still got to put the washer in and hang the clothes lines.
That, my friend, is impressive!! AWESOME!

Also i want to echo all the "thank for this amazing rain" sentiments. Christmas around here is becoming more and more expensive and less and less personal. It's starting to feel like all we're going to be doing this year is passing around gift cards, which to me, kind of defeats the whole purpose of Christmas. Some of my extended family are really starting to make it far too materialistic for my liking BAH!

BUT I still LOVE this tmie of year and plan to spoil my 3 boys (husband included) to the max AND of course my buddy who is just as much fun to shop for, if not more so since she's really the only girl i get to spoil this year!

Absolutely!!! Can it be a "Special" Coffee?? It is winter, after all! Heck, if you have time, you can even come for dinner! Just don't ask me to play a round of pool, I'm too short even with a cue to reach anything, and end up using the rake for most shots. It's my own version of "best ball".. (I do that in Golf too... btw )
