oh my god!! poor girl
I hope you're well enough to deal with the crap hand that your car dealt you.
A neighbour had her Volks_____(you get the idea) heated seat do the same to her and she filed not only through her insurance but with the car company and got compensated. Good luck with everything.

What an awful day!

Woke up to dbf having the flu.
My car wouldn't start, so I had to boost it all by myself.
I end up getting sick and throwing up at work, so I left an hour early.
Stopped twice on my hour drive home.
Once because I was ill, and once because my seat of my car caught on fire!!!!

Yup...my heated seat caught on fire behind my back. It burned the seat, my coat, and my back too! I'm just lucky my whole car didn't ignite.

Lying in bed, trying not to move. So sick!
Please let this day get better!

geez K8.. thats horrible.. for all three of you, the DBF, yourself and the car.. wow.. to think what could have happened. wonder if theres anything you can hold the company accountable for that you bought the car from or the factory. well i hope your all better soon. inc. the car.

New years resolution #33 (a) part (iii) try something new each month - went snowshoing with my daughter - look! here's the proof jk about the (a) part iiii etc but I do have alot of ideas of resolutions for myself just haven't committed them to paper

I want to snowshoeing, just need to find a place that has lots of snow!

Once because I was ill, and once because my seat of my car caught on fire!!!!

Yup...my heated seat caught on fire behind my back. It burned the seat, my coat, and my back too! I'm just lucky my whole car didn't ignite.

Lying in bed, trying not to move. So sick!
Please let this day get better!

OMG! What a day! That's really scary what happen with your car! Hope your back is ok!

ok I have sent Pammie's rough draft off to the pkge team to look at to see if we need to do any touch ups..I did a few....

so what should I do about the ppl who in some way or another "strayed" from the rules ??

I am giving an option kinda like a first warning here are the choices:

A) recieve a neutral rating from the conductor me) or
B) skip a train

would you like a p'm or just add your name to the list in the train sticky ....I am assuming peeps will pick option B....or I can post here and you can quote your name and post your option....

I have sent out private p'ms a few mins ago so check your inbox...

oh btw.. rule #1 always check your scratch cards before you recycle them.. not sure who's it is mine or my sons. but i think my son won $10.. anyway on my way home to check our cards i met up with 'my' little girl.. and called her out of the massive igloo (will post pics you have to see it to believe it) my son built.. i said J i have a gift for you(it was part of my gifts today).. she was like. squee; a prezzie for me'.. and goes' bye im out of here' to her friends inside it.. lol... so i explain that 'santa' must have dropped it xmas eve and made sure he sent to me so she'd get it .. well she opened that packge with such delicate care.. (she had mittens on too) and gave the cutest squee and goes.. I gots crayons.. its a Crayola princess coloring set.. she was like *whispering* im going to put it in my backpack so it stays good. good idea hunny i said.. then i got a 'knee hug' then a thanks Jenn . aww miss them hugs.. so thanks to Jeze and WJ here too

I have mine hidden in the freezer in a container marked LARD

klepto and I have our own freezers but just incase he strays into mine he won't eat my nummies LOL

I have a Chevy Equinox with the extended warranty and mine did the same thing - burnt a hole right threw my jacket

Company only reimbursed me for the parts inside the seat that malfunctioned and not the seat cover

Me and my dad fought with the insurance company and the warranty company and still to this day they will not replace the seat cover, I have to replace it out of pocket for $200

I explained what happened if I was not in the car and the whole seat went up in flames and their response is then insurance will replace it but because it is only a hole in the seat cover it is up to the owner to replace it
