So I went today with my $5 wub 3 gillette coupons to use them up before they expire thursday....
Armed with 12 travel size shave gels I went to the cash....with tax my total comes to $20.20 after coupons I would pay .20 cents
Anyways, cashier did not want to accept them because she said my total had to be $5 before taxes...even though it states on the coupon Taxes included in face value of coupon
I called head office and was told she should have accepted them but I never had a chance to go back. I will be heading back tomorrow to see what happens! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Umm... what? Because you used coupons, your total has to be a certain amount? Cashiers have a treasure trove of random rules, don't they?
You should have only paid 20 cents. She's wrong, and that is absolutely ridiculous.

Some store's cash registers will not let them input coupons more than the subtotal

I should have mentioned that I was at another pharmaplus this morning and the cashier/manager scanned the product once, entered in 12 and then entered $20 manufactuer coupon.
Reciept and coupons in hand I will be going back!!! My father in law will be tagging along too so I can use the last 8 coupons I have....I think he just wants to see the look on her face!
