    Hey guys:

I tried the advance search to see if this thread has been started, with no such luck.

I'm just wondering what you think is the best gas rewards/points club?

    Esso? Canadian Tire gas bar?

I'd love to know where the smart canucks buy their gas!

    Answer - everywhere there's a deal.
Esso when the gas is cheap. Use Esso points for Aeroplan miles.
Petro Can when the gas is cheap. Use Petro Can points converted to HBC points.
Canadian Tire when the gas is cheap and when they are offering 10x Canadian Tire money.
Loblaws/YIG/No Frills gas bars. Use Auto Cash from the gas bar for discounts on groceries at Loblaws, YIG, No Frills and RCSS
Shell when the gas is cheap. Use Airmiles to get accumulate Airmiles cash.
Pioneer when the gas is cheap. Use Pioneer bucks to get a discount on gas or on in store mechandise.

interesting...here the gas is the same price at every gas station. If one changes, they all change. I personally go to superstore gas bar. I have a PC mastercard so the points add up faster as well as I get 10.5cents off a litre...this will be an interesting thread.

I usually buy at CO-OP only because I really really like the check they cut you every year for buying and it always seems to come when you need money the most

But like Shwa Girl said it really depends what you want to collect as in points/rewards

I'm not sure where you live but in Wpg the superstore gas bar, when you pay with a PC mastercard gives you 10.5cents/L as a superbuck coupon which you can use in the store on purchases. Sometimes they have gas promos (I think next week is one) that you can get up to 35cents off/L (you have to spend $250 pretax though which I won't be doing), but if I spend $100 I will get 25cents/L which is still pretty good.

i was collecting esso points rarely and mostly using my petro points however we started buying esso gift cards at shoppers drug mart so we get the sdm points on the esso card. i find the points recieved on any gas card to be pretty worthless though. had my car for 2 years and i think i have enough points to get a bag of chips

We do Petro Points, and redeem each year for a gift card, usually around $40 or so.

Son prefers Canadian Tire - to get the CT money.

I collect AM, but Shell gas is crap, so that's a no-go.

with esso points i think that the best rewards are the car washes.. other then that they suck!
Does anyone know if they have the same thing at RCSS with the cents off per litre in Ontario?
