Went into Walmart just to look around, thought I might find a few deals. Ended up finding a some things.

There was a lady serving some type of meat, so my hubby says let's have a look, oh there's coupons. (yes he's trained!) It was Marc Angelo sausage that the lady had cooked and was giving samples, and the $1 coupon (with no expiry date). He tried the sausage, I took the coupon. She gave us a few and some were two stuck together. We never buy meat, veggies or fruit from WM, just don't like it but the coupons will come in handy somewhere else.

I made my way down the main aisle and saw a rack with hair colour boxes on it. It was L'Oreal hair colour with a bonus makeup thing. I saw a lady with quite a few boxes, $5 why not. Then I realized I had $2 coupons for that brand. I said to her, not a bad price but better with a coupon. She said I don't have one but that's okay it's cheap enough. (How can people think that way??) I grabbed the coupons I had and said here, now it's $3 a box!! She said thanks and left. Funny though cause another lady that was looking at the boxes kinda looked at me, I said sorry I gave her my two coupons.

Checked out the pet food area and found the Meow Mix cups on sale 2 for $1. I knew I had coupons for that, b1g1! So I picked up 12 cups, used six $1 coupons.

When I was in line, I had all my coupons ready. The lady behind me said I've never seen anyone so organized. I said you have to be. She then went on about a coupon show she saw and said to me, is this going to be where they owe you? How I wish I could have that happen but I saved about $23+ with all my coupons for various items. The lady even joked, do you have any coupons for what I'm buying. I don't know about anyone else, but I checked out what she had. All I could give her was a few coupons, she laughed and couldn't believe I actually looked for some to give her.

When I was leaving she said thanks for the entertainment, I enjoyed watching your total go down, good job!! Then she said when she watches that coupon show she will always think of me. Too funny. I just don't know any other way to shop, coupons are a way of my life now.

    NF
    3 dishsoap $1.49 -$1x3
    4 amooza twists $2.99 - $1x4
and one other item, total paid $12.12 (saved $7)

Great story! Sounds like you are her Super Hero! I like seeing people's faces at the register...as long as they aren't mad faces from having to wait while all of my coupons are entered!

Good deals, some people have too big a ego to use a coupon, they would rather use a charge card and pay 20% interest on a loaf of bread before they would be caught using a coupon! Well that is just what I think!
