I stopped in at Safeway (Mackenzie & Shelbourne) yesterday.... OMG - super busy - usually when I stop in there it's really dead but not yesterday. You were right - lots of good coupons. Many on the shelves had expired though - but I picked up a couple of the Highlander Fish ones (attached to the outside of the freezer) .... and I noticed that Save on has that on sale this week for 40% off. the Highlander Signature stuff .... not a normal thing that I buy but good to have a few in the freezer. Some other good ones were the yogurt ones and shampoos ....
On my shop yesterday I used about $18 in coupons - nothing near free but many became reasonable prices and I like using the AMs. The cashier that I had had a nice attitude and was pleasant. I felt pretty good when I finished shopping.

Tillicum mall safeway has a ton too.

The Safeway in Sidney does not have very many right now, so its not worth taking a trip out there. Also the Thrify's in Sidney has no coupons either.

Deodorant in the clearance section of University Heights Safeway is free if you have $1.00 coupons. The clearance price today is $1.00-$1.00 coupon. When I was there today I saw Lady Speed Stick, Degree, Right Guard( the deodorants are in a basket on the right side of the clearance rack.

BOGO Irish Spring 6 packs of soap $5.50 - (2x$2.00 Irish Spring coupon)=$1.50
