I have to do an oral presentation tomorrow in english (I'm french speaking, but my employer pays for a group english class), the majority of the people in my class really wants me to talk about couponing!

I wanted to know what SCOP means...I mean, I know what it means, but I wanted to know the word each letter represents...can someone help me?

thank you! I have to speak for about 30 minutes....I know I have enough stuff to talk about but I can't seem to find a way to start it and the order of things to say...arrrrk! I don't want to forget anything, I though no one would be interested in couponing and all my class asked me to talk about that! I don't want to deceive them! lol!

YOu could start with last year at this time my grocery bill for the month was .... and last month my bill was ......--that should get their attention.

I would call it a brag. You get to talk about something you are passionate about. We are here to support you. You will do awesome!!!!! I was a little nervous......ok I was alot nervous when I got up in from of approximately 25 ladies to promote couponing. My sister couldn't believe how well I did up in front of a crowd. I could have easily talked for another hour. Good luck! Let us know the outcome.

Yes it's close, about 10-20 minutes. I have a relative who lives in Beloeil.

That's a great idea! I'v have an excell sheet for my budget (what comes in and what goes out each month) for 2 years now, I see the difference it makes on a montly basis. It even lessen (is that a word???) the amount we spend on take out food, we rarely eat at restaurants now because my pantry/fridge/freezer/stock room is always stocked up! And we eat better than before! I though I would start by saying how I came accross couponing, but instead I will start right away with the money impact!

I probably will start by that time and my presentation is tomorrow morning at 10h30...I know, I'm last minute! Earlier this year I did a Powerpoint presentation about couponing in front of a class of about 20 people that I had just met a few weeks earlier..I started out with a comparison between how much I used to spend before couponing and how much since - it really drew them in and made them want to know more. I did up a handout for them as well, with a list of places that they could find coupons (websites, etc) and about all the rewards programs out there (Air Miles, Optimum, etc)- if you have time to do one up, I think that will get them to want to know more!!
