But that turned out to be another empty decree,<o:p></o:p>

You sure had charisma & you were quite the beau,<o:p></o:p>
Politics is a business that’s downright tainted,<o:p></o:p>
& with a single brush, they could all be painted,<o:p></o:p>
Their attack ads & signs I wish they’d shove ‘em’,<o:p></o:p>
Cause it sure is a business & it’s not about lovin’,<o:p></o:p>
Who to support & who to believe,<o:p></o:p>
From election rhetoric, I just need a reprieve.<o:p></o:p>
