Where:
It's in a sheet protector so you can wipe it and start over another week. Tape your chore chart to your refrigerator.

How:
Cut paint chips in half to make the squares and glued them to a piece of card-stock. On a sheet protector I wrote the chores in dry erase so we can rotate the chores each week. After the kids do a chore they get to put a "star" on the task. Later I give them a nickle for each star they accumulated that week.

Why:
They are learning the value of work, getting satisfaction from contributing to the family and are learning about money. They love those nickles!

Use string and sticky tack to mark out the solution. This makes it easy to see what the goal of your maze is - so much faster than trying to work from one end to the other!

Then with a ruler add all the alternate routes.

Add a bunch of matchbox cars and viola - you'll be able to keep your kids puzzled for at least a little while
