Very good deal indeed but does anyone know how long is the expiration date for the LD card? If it's like 3 months I don't think I can use up the amount. I am not that chatty.

I used to use calling cards but now I use Dell Voice and get free long distance in Canada and super cheap everywhere else. Much less than calling cards.

I think it is 6 months after it is activated with the first call.

It varies from province to province. You can call PC LD and ask. As of last year, in Quebec these cards do not expire.

Btw, re: the original post, when I first read it I thought it was an extra $25 when you bought a $20 card. But I think it's an extra $5 in LD calls, making it $25 in total

If you are in a financial crunch and can't afford the calling card or even if you just want to save some $ you can use your computer and a gmail account with a headset and get free north american calling year round. I have been using this account for 1.5 years and I have never had to pay long distance.

Ditto. I bought a new PC LD card last year before I knew my current card at the time didn't expire. It's still sitting in my agenda unused and unregistered because I use the gmail Call Phone. It's good enough for my average call but if i have an important call I'll use the phone and LD card.It does drive me crazy that Gmail sometimes hides, changes, or moves around the call phone icon and I have to go hunting for it... But free is free

It's been in Canada for at least 1.5 years. I've been using it for at least that long (maybe longer).

Just looked it up. It only half works here it seems. No incoming calls, only outgoing. I'll stick with Dell Voice as it gives free incoming also

I don't know what you mean by that - are we still talking about free long distance calls?

Once the PC mobile LD card is activated on the toll-free line, it has a 6-month useful life. That's before you make a call!

Still an extra $5 talk time-woohoo!
