ExpiredHow many trades have you done since Christmas and have any gone missing?
I am curious how many times things DO disappear in Canada Post. I started trading right before Xmas so I'm new and not sure what's "normal".
I have had two out of about 10 envelopes not arrive this year. That's 20% (my sample is small so I hope it's just a fluke).
It makes me wonder about all my Christmas cards each year. Also NONE have been returned to sender.
One envelope was a gift of coupons and money for a cause (yes I know never send money but I wanted to give $5 for the Humane society). My first and last time putting cash in the mail and yes it was "hidden" inside other papers. My second time was from a trade of 3 cereal box coupons -- they have not showed up in a month. So I'm replacing and the other trader has been very gracious about it.
If you've lost things in the Canada Post, please share your story here. Were they cereal box coupons or ?
If you haven't lost anything, please share the number of trades / success storyThis thread is currently associated with: Canada Post

They did something on the new about this the other day saying that more and more post office workers have been caught stealing things mostly for fraud like credit cards and other things that they can use in id theft.
Scary stuff
I haven't missed out on any trades but I have been missing bills at times and I am sure missing lots of freebies that others have gotten so i blame the mail lol

I am still waiting for one trade that was at the beginning of February from Ontario. I have only traded 3 times and this happened. I really hope it is just late....

I have no lost anything yet this yr. Last yr my futura submission went missing and it was terribly upsetting. (100+ in UPCs)
I am noticing that stuff is slow at times. Things that should take 2 days are taking a week in some cases.

I must have sent out 20-25 trades. one I mailed didn't get there & one that was mailed to me didn't get to me.
I got the air miles g.c. replaced, but I lost the $100.00 from my sister.

My DH didn't receive a card from his father for his birthday this year (his dad lives far away, and only sees him once a year, so i think he was very upset). Months later, we received a call from Canada Post saying that they had found the card and envelope opened on the floor of a post office somewhere (the cheque was still with it too).
There's something going on lately... maybe they need some security cameras watching workers at the offices.
