Sofar I have been lucky. All my trades have made it to their destination safely
. I am waiting for 1 trade but I'm sure it's just late ( I hope it comes soon as I really need those coupons).
I have had 1 envie from a company not sent to me. When I contacted them they told me that it was returned to them as "undeliverable" whatever that means???

Cesme77: It's not your fault! I just truly hope they come, especially with all the pizza deals on right now. Hmmm, I wonder if our mail man likes McCain pizza....

"undeliverable" means that they couldn't deliver it for whatever reason, ie. wrong address, couldn't find the address, tenant moved....ect.

Well, I have a post in the yea room about a letter taking 14 months to get to me and it was coming from Mississauga, maybe 30 mins from me.
So far no trades lost, but I have one that took a while to get to the person and I am waiting for one sent a while ago from fairly close too - hopefully it will show soon because I am out of Bagelfuls but although slow I dont think it is lost yet.
I also had mail come back to me from work that Canada Post charged me for but didn't actually put postage on - it was returned insufficient funds but shows on my statement from our in house CP so I had to give them heck for it and resend.

Oh and undeliverable can also mean that your mail man is lazy and is complaining because the lights are too dim in your apartment building so he refused to deliver any mail for 10 days despite the fact that your lights are so bright they shine through the front door

I haven't had anything go missing but I did recieve a train 2.5 weeks after the person sent it. The day it was sent was marked so it was the postal's fault.

Yeah, I had mailed someone 2 weeks ago for the trade in the same area and it got returned to me after 2 weeks and it was my mistake since I had a typo in the address.
But it took 2 weeks for them to return it back. I havent lost any trades yet *knock on wood* but 2 weeks is just crazy!!Last edited by sanny211; Wed, Mar 4th, 2009 at 02:57 PM.

I'm not pointing out anyone here....these i have seen and i did work with this CANADA POST people (specially with mail carrier)...so just wanna to let everyone know that....they can't even think about touching any of your letters or parcel...everything is recorded.....every signle movement they are doing inside the outlet is beeing watched......there is a chance might put your mail into different houses...which some cases they do return and stay at the outlet for awhile till get sorted......which some cases the house people won't think about putting it back in the mailbox (their own mailbox to pickup by the carrier).....speak the truth...how many of you return the mail on the next day which is not belong to you....tell me how many of you are there?....i'm not gonna lie to you guys....i don't do it till i go and get my mail next day...or two...that's cause the delay too.......
again....i'm not pointing out anyone here....but telling you guys about how these mail carrier works.....we should thank them for delivering the mail to us...
i have this lady who brings our workplace mail......poor lady...she was very late....around 2pm........never came that late....it's a snowy day so think about it...
so the nextday she was telling us this story.....after she done with the workplace mails...then she gotta do the residential mail......one of this guy was standing outside of the house...and having coffee and smoking......he called her "hey lazy ----" u were sleeping all these time...how come u didn't bring my cheque home early...i'm waiting since morning.....after all he is waiting for this welfare cheque......she couldn't say anything................she just said sorry having hard time driving out with this snow....and she left the place.....i felt sooooooooooooo bad for this lady.......
