Paid to buy carnation milk (sobeys west)

This week Sobeys has Carnation Evaporated milk on sale for .99 cents starting Nov 2, 2012. There are coupons for $1 off leaving .01 cent overage but it doesn't stop there! You get 75 bonus points when you buy 4 there is a limit of 8 so you can get 150 bonus points the milk and a tiny overage. If you do this on 10% tuesday the overage will be more. You gotta love the days you get paid to shop!!!

Our Sobeys won't take coupons over the price of the item.
I'll be getting two cans regardless, to have on hand for Christmas baking.

I used up all of my Carnation coupons when no frills had it on sale for 1.22 a can. I am fully stocked and I have been coming up with a couple recipes to use it as coffee creamer. I find it too strong to just drink as creamer out of the can so I decided to do something about it. I ended up purchasing 4 cases... in several shops and in different stores. That may seem excessive to some but here is the deal... last year was my first year couponing and I thought well it is ok if i miss this deal... the deals come in cycles right?... well the awnser is sort of... the great coupons only seem to come out once a year for this product and only over a couple months do we have a chance to get in on the deal or it is wait until next year. The point is if you are a new couponer and if you have the coupons this may be a deal you don't want to pass up. Even if Sobeys is out you can price match at many stores like Walmart, Superstore, Giant tiger and many other stores. Good luck!

was there another coupon in those booklets for the milk? The one that is for any smuckers product?

I used all my coupons up to get it for .33 a can at wm before I left to go south for the winter. I was extremely happy with that deal, plus I didnt want those great coupons to expire before I had a chance to use them. Can milk is so expensive these days and so many recipes call for it. I love using it if I'm making whipped potatoes too, it makes them so smooth and creamy.

Where was this coupon from? I had some old ones that expired in April lol But I don't remember this one.

These coupons were in with smuckers in a booklet a couple months ago... I went to about 8 different stores to make sure I didn't clear any coupons out. They all disappeared quite quickly.

The product might be gone by then. I happened to stop by one in down town and got the last 4. I only had 4 coupons any way. The last 2 cans that I got, I had to really pull those out from the corner and they were quite dusty. So good luck for waiting till Tuesday.
