I hear people wanting to get Wii's, PS3's, computers, and cameras that are all over $250. I understand you can redeem up to 2 times a day, but they can't be within one transaction, so are you paying out of pocket for the difference or are you somehow paying for items that are $250+ with both redemption's? call me confused on this one, lol.

The max is $250 and the rest you pay out of pocket.

    Can't you only redeem 2 a day? Bet you're hoping it's a 2 day event, lol.

Per the T&C you can redeem 2x a day max but they've never enforced it. Ultimately, they don't really care...it is a pretty stupid rule....if you wanted to get around it, you could simply transfer points to other family member cards and do 2x on each. I think the T&C says (or at least it used to) say maximum 2 a day, and maximum 3/year.

It has been enforced by the system on mega redemptions before, I had to go home and transfer points to my BF to redeem

That's my one gripe with SDM program...you should be allowed to hit one big one instead of 8 small ones, for example.

I mean, there's no limit on how many points you can accumulate on 20x days or other promos, but there sure as heck is on redemptions, as has been discussed.

I usually transfer to other cards to get the redemption.

I plan on getting most of my christmas shopping done this way (get wii and xbox games the boys want, and the nintendo 3dsi's for the girls). I have enough points for 5 redemptions, so I plan on finishing most of the big ticket items like that, plus get some stocking stuffers, chocolates and groceries like that.

Isn't that illegal to purchase an item with the intent to resale?
