And I'm so happy to see people in Winnipeg going out of their ways and helping each other out and making the seemingly impossible trek to the bus stop. Main roads and sidewalks were plowed, but side streets, walkways, back lanes, etc weren't. Taking the bus across the city today was a nightmare, the bus was 15 minutes late, so a lot of us froze our butts. And most of us were knee-deep covered in snow, making our clothes soaked.

It kind of shocked me, watching people get off both front and back doors and having one help the other get across the snowbanks onto the sidewalks. It helped me put some faith back into humanity for me. And just to think that if all of us did this, it may not be so bad to live through it.

It was quite refreshing to see this. Just thought I'd share.

Saw the situation in the Peg on the news - we have gotten a lot, but you guys got more!

The helpfulness always seems to occur here, it's very heartening to see. People pushing each others' cars which are stuck, shoveling for those who need help, etc.
Seems to just be the prairie way of helping!

Just when we think that all senses have been lost by all humanity, thegood lord shows us there is still hope. It's nice to see strangers hellping strangers.

And I'll just add that I'm so happy to be in the sunshine and warmth,
