Woman Fined 2500$ for 3yr old peeing in own yard

This happenned in Oklahoma. A 3yr old in the process of potty training pulled down his pants and peed in THEIR OWN front yard. A cop caught him and charged the mother 2500$ for public urination. http://www.examiner.com/article/moth...ees-front-yard

I don't have kids but anyone with a brain knows that when a kid in the process of potty training needs to go, it could happen anywhere. It's just life. Where are they when intoxicated folks are peeing in public places in the middle of downtown? Where are they when people are engaging in public sex in the middle of a week day at the entrance of the Toronto Eaton Centre?

The (police) chief went to the family home to personally apologize. He ensured the ticket was thrown out, and is investigating both sides

That's really rediculous.
Equally, no even more rediculous is the other story of the mom potty training in the restaurant.
Now that deserves the 2500 fine.
