Some really crappy surveys floating around looking for a very small quota. Ive had 36 released in past 1.5 hours and have only been able to complete 2 out of that batch.

I just completed a fairly lengthy survey and I think it was an Aanaska survey...

has anyone done those kinds of surveys, or seen them in their list?

I've completed a two of them over the past couple weeks or so. I have been paid both times, but both times the survey was significantly longer than the predicted time on the clixsense page, so in the future I will be avoiding all Aanaksa/Anaaska/Whatever it's called.

Lots of worry on the forum that clixsense is on the way down. Have people cashed out lately if so whats the time frame? I find after all these years its unlikely but with such delay and changes to their payouts system it does worry me. Ive been doing this along time and this is usually how it starts. And most companies would just go back to the old way but it seems nothing is changing or being addressed.

I've been cashing out on Wednesdays and getting the payout a week later - but yeah, I had a bad feeling as soon as they started making these changes. But others were still optimistic so I had hoped I was wrong. It makes me sick to think I might have to go back to doing surveys on Swagbucks - they pay so much less for them. And I can't help but wonder if SBs is making their own changes because they are in the same boat.

I'm reminded of the now infamous "J" - "I have enough VIPs, I don't need any more"

I think after I get my cashout Im going to send them a message...that until they go back to their old system I will not be doing work there. If I dont feel safe, I dont feel like working there. Because my cashouts are always over $100 and as we all know that takes alot of work to get there. And if I dont have full confidence im not going to risk it.

As of now, Im picking some of my other sites to do offers on to still earn and am going to give clixsense a break. Two of my other sites pay 85 cents and 90 cents for yoursurveys..unlimited done and attempts a day..samplicio router (95 cents per survey) SSI router (60 cents) giveus2cent 70 cent.....etc etc..etc...plus offer walls. So I can still earn fine. Its less than what id earn but its also a guarantee Ill get paid. The site im using has instant paypal as soon as you hit $10 and usually a code a day for usually 6 cents-10 cents.

Sucks I feel I have to do this but better to be safe than sorry

Until last week, since the last changes were announced I have requested payments late Pacific on Tuesdays. I think I was paid each time on the Friday. One of the payments was very late in the day on the Friday.

Last week life intervened and I did not make the payment request until Wednesday. I have yet to receive payment. However, today although I could still click to add to the payment request, once I went through the steps it told me I could not and the ability to add to the pending payment was gone. In the past that has signalled payment is getting close.

Have not decided what I will do. I do have enough to submit for another cashout and I will do that assuming I can on Wednesday. Then given Christmas plus the uncertainty, time to sit back perhaps and decide what is next for me.

ClixSense has been very good to me, I have maintained a Premium membership since very shortly after I started, and this just seems very unusual. Relative to many they are large. For example, I think somewhere I saw the graph of CrowdFlower tasks completed by site in November and ClixSense was at the top. In October they were #2 after NeoBux. Don't mean to suggest that size means something can't go wrong, but if there really is something wrong this could have large ramifications for not just members but all other companies in the business. And like tvwatcher I wonder about all the stuff at SwagBucks in the same timeframe.

I spoke to clixsense. They are returning to the old system as of right now

Which old system - once a week, or back to twice a week? Hopefully it will mean timely payments which is more important to me than whether once or twice a week.

that's a relief! I've been in a panic all night! LOL

maybe it was just a failed experiment - they gave it a shot, it didn't work as well as they had hoped, and it's back to normal!

When I spoke to them. All I really said was whats going on? Why are members thinking you are closing down? It sort of concerns me. I also told them they have earned my trust so not to take it as a personal attack but more of just a question/slight concern

Their response was pretty much they appreciate me as a member and others too. And they are now returning to the old system starting as of right now. They were trying a new system but realize its just not working and its worrying members.

So im not sure what the old system means...if its once a week or twice. Im sure they will announce this soon though.

Anyone notice a huge increase in $2-$4 surveys? Even $1+? But much longer? I havent seen many short surveys or surveys about prodycts (food, travel etc)

Updating the information I posted earlier about my payments. The payment I requested last week on Wednesday arrived this evening. The PayPal email is time stamped 8:12 pm Pacific. Someone is working late on the East Coast.

Honestly, I feel Clixsense is still very safe since no members has ever complained that they don't receive payment in 2 weeks. If so, then it is the time to set an alarm clock.

I think Clixsense wants to split the payment process throughout the the entire week, so not all the payment request accumulate in two days which will be tedious as increasing number of members. Also, I believe paypal has certain limit on money transferring out of the account even for business. It will hit the limit easily if they only do 2 days payment.

There are lots of ways to solve this issues. For example, besides the regular payment, they can allow special payment request per day with limited quota. The quota can be amount of money or number of request. It is up to them. Once the quota hits, they don't accept anymore request. The payment will be completed within day or 2. They can also set the minimum $ and number of special request each week for each members. However, they should keep the old system of payment no matter what they want to do.
