The employees at my wal-mart don't know about overage, they won't give me overage, and they won't accept coupons higher than the product's cost. I get them to call over the managers all the time who insist they "never heard of such a thing" yet I used to get overage there all the time! It's like someone erased all their memories. They also claim they don't have a coupon policy. I hardly imagine a store like wal-mart doesn't have a coupon policy printed somewhere for reference. How do they train their employees?
It isn't fair!!! I bought a bunch of TENA packages to get some overage and they won't let me use them!!
Any advice? This thread is currently associated with: WalmartMust have a U.S. itunes account to choose a free product on Poshmark: New Accounts Only:

Sorry this happened to you but if you go and print out their coupon policy and bring it in with you....they will have to honor it....good luck
Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you – not because they are nice, but because you are.

Yeah I will try. I printed it last night. I may also call head office, and get them to call the store. Clearly the employees aren't trained according to policy.
I rarely have problems at SDM, luckily!Must have a U.S. itunes account to choose a free product on Poshmark: New Accounts Only:

It was on the radio (here in edmonton) yesterday that "the big box store" is getting tired of couponers who do the overage thing. Their employees have actually watched someone use 35 coupons, recive a gift card for $17.50 in overage and then dump the product in the garbage cans outside the door. As they said, donate it don't waste it.
And the products mentioned were shampoo and incontinence pads.
This doesnn't do much for people who would like to actually buy the product.

Walmart has a policy in place you are allowed overage, I bring the coupon policy with me and it states clearly on it that the customer has a choice of cash back or the money towards other item/s sometimes the store clerks and even managers will not know but they always give overage and have for almost 2 years now.

Email head office. I had the same problem at my WM, I e-mailed head office and about 2 weeks later got phone calls from 2 of the managers at my local WM. They told me that they'd spoken to all the staff about it and it should be taken care of now. I havent had any overage coupons since to test it out though!

I did the Tena thing back in the summer which worked great for me! and just today saw that they had more in store, so I went home and got my coupons went back and thought of using my overage on stocking stuffers. About an hour after searching for a ton of small items I get to the till and after all the curfufle they limited me to two...... I was kinda choked....
so i busted out my $1 tena product coupons to cover the rest of the packages(becauase I just had a baby and actually use the jumbo pads
) the woman said no that I could use only the overage from the two $5 off coupons towards them and that my $1 off coupons could not be used.
I ended up being too angry and tired to argue the coupon policy all over again and wait for the same rude CSM again so I just paid and left. But after getting home and re thinking it all, Im going to return all of my items and that makes me
