I honestly felt bad once I got home and looked at my receipt but I was also very excited about the deals that I got too.
I was low on TP so I bought
10 cottonelle 5.99 - 1.00 = 4.99
10 resolve 1.88 - 2.00 = Overage of .12
13 boxes barilla pasta clearance .50 - .75 = overage of .25
OOP = 45.54
These were great deals to begin with when these products would have been free, and then I realized that she gave me the overage. She must have been a new teller, and I hope she doesn't get in trouble over this. Next time I will be a little more deligent, it saves me money but I want to be able continue to coupon at this store and they don't limit me like all the other NF in my area.This thread is currently associated with: No Frills

Great shopping. She won't get in trouble. No worries. They have no idea what got overages etc. They will submit their coupons and get full money back. So all is well. What great deals you found. WTG!

The resolve is $1.88 plus tax ($2.12). The coupon is for $2 and if it is the same as the ones I have the taxes are included in the face value of the coupon. There really isn't an overage with that item. Great shopping. WTG

I'm not sure about No Frills, but I was a cashier supervisor at Zellers for 3 years, and at Zellers there would be no way to tell what the coupons were even for or what got overages. All we could see is exactly what shows on the reciept "vendor coupon $2.00" etc. The cash office would make sure all the totals matched up, etc. but would never go digging for further details. And to be honest, stores don't care that much. Cash offices are so busy that nobody is worried about 12 cents, plus they get reimbursed no matter what.

Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you – not because they are nice, but because you are.

Sweet! I love seeing overages on people's receipts It makes me hopeful that I will get at least one in my lifetime lol.
Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Receive a cheque, deposit it into your bank. That easy! https://legerweb.com/2Q7V3
