I can't seem to catch a break with phone companies.
last night, I was in the market of getting a home phone. Then I realized on bell.ca that a home phone would be the same amount as a cell phone plan - so I went to order two Iphones (free right now - BONUS!) one for me, one for my mom. Well, the website kept crashing!!
I found the 'live chat' button, clicked it, and the girl there was really helpful in finding me ways to bypass the sketchy areas that would previously make it crash on me.
Got a confirmation code. All good, right?
Nope.
Woke up this morning to this email
We have received multiple orders from you for the same product(s). For your protection, we'd like to confirm the number of products you require as well as how many orders you placed. "Hi, I was wondering if there is some sort of long distance plan you offer, because I apparently moved out of the 'zone'" (Insert me laughing)
"Well, you moved out of the zone." (Insert sarcasm)
"So..you don't hav-"
"NOPE!" (Insert him yelling)
"Okay..well, thanks anyways"
"So, you gonna cancel your account?"
"No, I can text.. so at least that's good"
"Ok bye"
*then he hangs up on me*
He says HE can't help me, but another person can and he'll transfer me. Great. Finally.
No.
He transfers me and the woman says no one over the live chat can get into personal information, thus, i'd have to call in. Are you kidding me?! Why did he transfer me? I have some colorful names for him, for getting my hopes up. I told them both that I have no phone. BUT, I forgot to mention, the lady last night who helped me put through my order, went into my account! Because I had to buy the 2 phones logged out of my account, I wasn't eligible for the combine and save, they had said i'd get with the internet and the 2 phones. So she went into my account and applied the 4$ discount.
I don't know if its universal "Lets drive me crazy" day, but I live in the middle of no where, with no friends with phones near by (closest - 45 mins!) so i'm bundling up to go use a pay phone! This thread is currently associated with: BellPreviously CanadianBella... I'm baaack!

I live on the outskirts now, I need to change my location on my profile, eh? lol. I went down to the payphone, called, and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my account.

Everyone I know that uses Bell seems to have the same problems. I try to avoid Bell because the customer service is usually so poor. I hope that everything works out for you

When I call, and Online (with the exception of the 2 people today - but their bad didn't overtake the good I feel for them) they're always VERY nice. I talked to three ladies when I was setting up the internet, and they were helping me figure out why my address wasn't going through. (Apparently I live in "The Nation" not Limoges - according to bell) and we're really polite. When they transferred me, they did it in a 3-way call and the old rep introduced me to the new rep. I thought that was so nice!

Its horrible! The train goes by every darn 10 minutes, and I have to watch what I hang, because things shake on the walls. And in the summer there are loud parties/concerts in the forest behind my house. (No. Clue. but they have good music). Everyone is also french, except me. I play more sherades (sp?) now since I moved here, than I ever did in my life before.

Heh, I grew up in Maxville, went to school in Avonmore, and our haunts for parties in the summers were Crysler, Alexandria, St Isadore etc etc.
It's a bit easier when you move out there while still in school so you get a chance to meet people, but once you hit college age, it's not as easy since there isn't a lot to do if you don't know anyone! lol

I find there aren't a lot of people my age here, either. Either little kids, or 40+. No wonder, once everyone hits 18 they leave for the 'big city'. LOL.

Welcome to Bell. Expect more many more mix-ups in the future.
If they get your name wrong on the bill, don't expect that when you call them to fix it, they'll fix it in the directory too. I learned that from experience and that was only the beginning...
