So I thought I'd try out the new Walmart coupon policy today. Armed with the policy in hand I picked up some trial size Olay and Nivea and Pro Glide razors. I brought my purchases to the customer service desk thinking that they should know the policy over the regular cashier. I had also wanted to purchase a Finish Quantum Starter kit PM Zellers and use the online coupon. The customer service refused to PM and use the coupon as well for the Quantum kit and said I could only do one or the other. I said I would leave them then, couldn't argue it nothing on there coupon policy said anything about PM's. Then the customer service person said I couldn't use the coupons for the olay or nivea because they were worth more than the product. I brought out the policy. She called her supervisor. The supervisor then argued with me about it. I was frustrated by this point and asked her "so your telling me that the policy on your sit is wrong?" She ended up giving them to me reluctantly, saying it's only a dollar over on each item just give it to her then." Anyway, I left with about $17 worth of merchandise and paid $1.87. I still was a little pissed off at the treatment and the lack of knowledge of the supervisor.

Good for you for standing your ground. How long did it take you to do all this? It took me half an hour but that's because I was in french country.

I've managed to convince my DH to shop with coupons but I'm nervous about this kind of situation as I know it would turn him off. He does 90% of our shopping (I'm the planner!) so I hope WM employees get more up to speed.

20minutes maybe I didnt shop around for anything else I went in with just a few items I wanted to check out in mind.

Did they not know their policies? Omg that store will have a bad reputation if the situation with others custumer rehappen. That's crazy ...What a shame...

CSMs are glorified cashiers... so really if you need to ask for the Manager! you should get always talk to an assistant store manager as they may actually have a clue as to what is going on.

If its not a big order i use self check out...but most of our cashiers have been awesome lately...no issues witht the new policy!!

Not sure what coupon everyone else is using, but I used the $2 off one.

The Pro Glide razors are 4$ - 2$ off coupon in pg or 5$ wub3 in pg too...so the deal is you can have it for 2$
But again I am not sure about the new coupons on the pg website...nothing stated about 4 coupons in same tripp shopping
