SDM 20X the Points Brag

I haven't been participating much in anything offered by SDM as my DH has been laid off quite a bit and the funds just aren't there, but I wasn't missing this one. I didn't get that many points, but hey, at least I got some right?!?!?!

I think if I shopped at every event SDM had, I would be broke. They seem to always try and lure us in there somehow and trust me, its been hard, but I've controlled myself!

No pic as I put it all away as I purchased a few Easter items for my DD's and I didn't want them to see any of it.

2x Bic Soleil Razors - $4.99x2 = $9.98 - $4.00 = $5.98
2x Downy Simple Pleasures - $5.99x2 = $11.98 - $5.00 = $6.98
1x Chocolate Easter Egg with Gummi Bears - $3.49
1x Chocolate Easter Egg with Fuzzy Peaches - $3.49
1x Neilson 2% Milk - $4.19

Once all items were scanned I made sure to ask the cashier for a subtotal before tax as I wanted to make sure I was over the $50.00. I was and I hand her my coupons and she says "you won't get 20x the points after I deduct the coupons". Because I'm a smart canuck, I know differently and say "I will still get the points, just take them off and it will be fine". She says "but your OOP has to be more than $50.00". I calmly tell her "if it doesn't work, I'm fine with it". Low and behold she enters the coupons and I pay and guess what I got 20x the points
