    Looking for a GPS for my husbands truck. Not sure what is good and what is not......around the $100 price range. Any tips or sales?

    the Garmin 50lm was on sale for $89 last week at staples which was the best deal lately. Stay with Garmin and make surer it has lifetime map updates you can't go wrong.

    I have a TomTom I bought last year, but if your husband has a smartphone, he can download the NavFree GPS app for Android for free, or purchase the TomTom GPS app. I have both, but I didn't pay for the TomTom (.apk torrents).

    Thank you for the replies he does have a smart phone. There was a Tom Tom on sale at Canadian Tire for 50% off but they sold out. The garmin on sale too so I will look at those. I have no clue about gps I am a map reader but I imagine the gps would be amazing!

    I've never used a Garmin GPS in the car, although I have a Garmin handheld unit that I use for geocaching and it works great.

    i have a tom tom with lifetime updates. i use my smartphone more.....
