Expired on: Mon, Oct 17th, 2011I'm not sure if this is new but I only notice it now that Home Depot does price-match! This makes it convenient for buying household items such as Greenworks, Windex, Mr Clean,... instead of having to run to WM to PM

Do you know if you can use coupons at home depot? I have never tried or thought to go there for cleaning supplies! Thanks!

My hubby works there and I know they sometimes promotion match. For example last weeknd Rona had a 15% of any one item Saturday and they matched that. I think it was even on top of sale prices too. Not bad for big and little ticket items.

I once ask the "Manager" in HD re: the 15% Rona sale, he replied to me that they only PM item to item. they won't give me every first item 15% off!!!!!

Yes Home Depot does take coupons... and really they should be more friendly then most.... When I managed the front end at my stores... policy was not even to bring in proof, as we would call the competition to confirm pricing.. but then again that could have been just our store as we were smaller and had that time to do price checks via the phone for our customers.

Home Depot has been awesome with me when i use coupons. And their price matching is outstanding. When we did the wiring for the entire lower level of our home, they price matched every single item we had circled in 4 flyers. AND of course we ran out of some of the materials, they STILL honored the same price matched price 4 weeks later simply by showing our receipt for the previous purchase.
Home Depot was fabulous with us.Join GROUPON for incredible deals, click here

Home Depot in Newfoundland is by far the WORST place to use coupons. I had a cashier who didn't even know how to ring in a coupon and get very frustated with me because I was using 3 of the buy 2 off products and save 5.00 coupons. She first read the coupon for several minutes (Ok... I'll let you do your job) then started to ring the items in and passed 2 of the coupons back to me and said you can only use one. I was like ... huh? She said one per purchase that means one per transaction. I said ah no I am purchasing 3 sets of 2 products. Ring them in seperate if needed. She then couldn't figure out how to enter the coupon and called over another cashier. She couldn't remember how so the cashier called a manager who talked her though it on the phone all the while hand on hip rolling eyes...

Yup,, I hear ya! same thing happen to me at the same home depot.. The cashier said I can only use one coupon bc it reads one per purchase. I said no, each item is a purchase,, you are referring to one per transaction..
the cashier proceeded to ring in all my off products doing a separate transaction for each..
It kinda turned me off from using coupons there again, unless they have a really good sale much like the off fly dope.
