Where do you use your FPCS?

Hi,

Now that I'm gathering up a few fpcs and going to use them, of course, I would like to know...

Considering points programs(optimum, airmiles, ect) where do you spend your fpcs to maximize their value?

I have always used mine at Fortino's since they always take the taxes off as well, making the item totally free. But now that Walmart wants to pay out the max value on them, I will definitely be using them there!

I don't think you get Optimum points on FPC items, do you?

I always use mine at sobeys, they take the taxes off, and the total still counts towards airmiles!

Kellyc..how does Walmart give us the max value for our fpc's. I haven't heard of that before?? I usually use mine at SDM and don't pay any taxes

So I am in BC (Lower Mainland)
With FPC's I normally shop with a couple things in mind...

I will look to see if any stores are current have any promotions for the FPC's i have (ie.BOGO deal I will use them so I can get 2 free)

If not I ALWAYS take them to SOF or Pricesmart!
They are the ONLY store where if using a FPC can combine points program.

This does not work at Safeway for Airmiles or SDM for Optimum.

However if it is a $ amount off inturn makes the product free I will use at SDM (ie. the Advil Nighttime as you will get the points) However since they do not price match there I will take it again over to Pricesmart or Save-on foods where I will get the points.

ps....I hate Zellers (ex-employee) So I NEVER shop there (well ok just for free bleach) So I am not sure but I do think you get the points on the FPC as well as $ off free coupons.

Thanks! That clarifies it for me. I wasn't sure which points programs counted them as a purchase or not. I might try to bring some to Walmart if they are crediting the full amount, if it is listed.
