Hi!!!
I am stumped on how to present or package a Gift Card as a gift.
At work we're doing Secret Santa and I want to get a Gift Card as a gift.
What is a good why to package the gift card where the person wouldn't suspect the gift is a gift card but when opening it, the person doesn't have to search it to get it/find it?This thread is currently associated with: N/A

what about a box slightly larger than the card and then put a little tissue in it to 'bed' the card.. then wrap it up. im sure there are lots of boxes at dollarama that would work. you wouldn't even need to wrap it if the box is sparkly enough. is that what you mean?

I've seen them tied with a nice ribbon, around the neck of an inexpensive teddy bear or, in this case, maybe a Santa? Then boxed and wrapped nicely. Or around a bottle of wine...?

It depends on the gift card...
Tim Horton or Starbucks =a travel mug or a mug with candies
Clothing gift card-socks or other small item
Grocery store=a small candy dish or a dip sectional tray
Spa card-Small spa set from the $ store
And on and on...
Hope that helps

A decorative round can just a litte larger than the card and tied with a big red bow or something. I received one this way once and never guessed it was a gift card.

Make it a treasure hunt. Get several small boxes (like a ring box) put little clues in each one as to where you have hidden the gift card and wrap the boxes. Maybe there is a way to tape it to the underside of the top of their desk or something. Then they have to follow the clues to find the gift card. Makes it more fun!

How about a nice glass jar filled with candies and the gift card tucked inside but clearly visable.

I just saw a big chocolate bar gift card holder at Homesense. It looked pretty cool, or I would stick it in a pair of mitts, when you stick your hand in the mitts as everyone does, you feel the gift card.

I bought some really cute gift boxes from Walmart that looked like Chinese Food take out boxes. Inserted 2 Movie passes and filled with snack size candy, (Halloween chocolate treat boxes) stuck on a bow and name tag and can carried by handle.

The ones I am giving I bought GC gift boxes for. They sell fancier ones at SDM for about $2.99 which are like a tin box. The paper ones I bought this year fold in on the edges and have cool designs. Got them a few wks ago at Zellers on sale for $0.49 a piece! Perhaps you could buy those small stockings and fill it with treats and insert the GC inside!
