Hello, I was just wondering how everyone gets so many of the same coupons from the online coupon website when it will not send the same one in a certain time period?

I think people are using multiple sign-in, or different addresses, so they can get multiple coupons.

some people use multiple addresses, some people get them sent to friends and family, some people have mulitple accounts sent to their addy (which technically isn't allowed, people have in the past lost their accounts for this)

Some people are able to write their addresses completely differently. If you live in a big city this is a lot easier. For example, you can put your address as city: Montreal or city: Pierrefonds. Even though, technically Pierrefonds is in Montreal....
Sometimes you can even write out your address differently - which is also easier in Montreal since you can write it in French or English. For example, rue Pilon OR Pilon Road.
I guess that they could catch you by looking up your postal code and searching, etc. but is it really worth the time for them to do that? I think the people who are losing their accounts are the ones who are blatantly setting up accounts in multiples under the same address.
To be honest, I don't think that having two accounts is such a big deal. I don't even care if people have multiples, I mean, they are just coupons. And these companies are making billions of dollars every year, do you think the extra $40 that they're losing makes a difference? Nooo....
BUT...
People also do get multiples by trading for them, getting them from friends or family.

Dont for get recycle bin diving or rummaging through other peoples bins. I mean you could also ask neighbors for their smartsources if you know they dont use them and you are friends. Also, frequent the grocery stores, drug stores for coupons.
To go alongh with that I was also thinking of getting another account to my work. But I wonder what the secretary would say when she delivers my mail.

I have not yet received any coupons in the mail. NONE! Of course I just started couponing, so I am still waiting on those... All the coupons I have are from stores. And I'd like to think i have a nice collection of coupons started!

The online ones specifically, I think is predominantly through trading. I too have not receive my first order of anything I've done online so I am hoping to get them next week. Setting up multiple addresses seems wrong though I suppose it's not truly fraud.
It's funny how a lot of members here on SC don't value the online coupons as much (a lot of the trains and trading specifically state 'no save.ca etc' so I'm guessing they can rack them up quickly).
I just started a week ago and I managed to get the insert versions out of my own recycling bin. THen I started looking for tear offs, had very bad luck at first, now I've got a nice pile going. I'm also on the look out for coupons on product boxes, same thing, now I've got about 12 things in my cupboards that are awaiting clipping.Kate

Save.ca, websaver and brandsaver all have a waiting period before you can reorder a coupon but gocoupons.ca you can order once a week. First thing every Monday morning I order the ones I use from there. I have an account for each site in my name and one in my friends name. He keeps what he might use and gives the rest to me. And I even have one in my ex's name. He comes over to pick up the girls for dinner once a week and brings me any that came to his place. I have a few friends who don't use coupons so they save me the inserts from the newspapers. Even after they see all my deals and oh and ah over my savings, they just can't be bothered to use coupons themselves. I don't get it, it's not hard to do! But it works out for me, since I get their coupons!

I have accounts for all my family members and they give me the coupons when they arrive. I also sign up for all the trains i can too to maximimize the amount i have, nothing is worse then having a great deal come up and not having the coupons to get it, so you have to be prepaired.

I agree!! Sonow even if I'm not sure I will use the product, I still grab or order the coupon. I made that mistake with the $.75 off WUB 2 Lactantia milk.
For some reason, I just assumed that Natrel would come out with another $1 off any 2L Organic Milk, so I didn't take any of the Lactantia... Well, Natrel didn't!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR

I was thinking that people are reordering the coupons they want from the online sites as soon as they can.
Another way of getting multiple coupons is taking 3-4 from the coupon tearoff pads and picking up multiple copies of the free newspapers that have a coupon flyer in them that week!
Would love to get some FPCs! Where do you get them?
Looking for FPCs to trade!I really really need grocery FPCs & coupons!!! Happy mom of 3 young children

Will trade $50 in coupons for a $5 Amazon.ca e-gift card OR $100 in coupons for $10 grocery gift cards!

Which newspapers in Toronto have the flyer inserts? Just wondering since I have never seen any.
